Company founder Jill Butterfill established Abacus in 1988 with 6 years previous experiences running construction companies. Taking her knowledge of the construction industry and it’s complex accounting and financial requirements Jill established Abacus to offer small businesses in construction and other industries, the kind of personal, bespoke and pro-active support everyone seeks from their accountants but rarely get.
Our services have been designed to reach beyond simple book-keeping and payroll administration, and we like to think of ourselves as all round small business supporters and advisors, capable of bringing an experienced hand to all aspects of accountancy, payroll, taxation as well as many other areas through the experience of our team and associates.
